TODAY Show Live from the River Walk
The NBC TODAY Show's Hota Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford discovered the true meaning of "Deep. In The Heart." during their live broadcast from the historic Arneson River Theatre on July 29, 2009. Their Texas-themed vacation centered around San Antonio with local chefs, native animals, fashions and much more.

1 Year Anniversary
Hundreds of couples took their vows facing the River Walk at the Arneson River Theatre on February 14, 2009. The annual Valentine's Day group wedding ceremonies marked their 20th year under the coordination of Minister Joe Sullivan. The SACVB also celebrated the one-year anniversary of "Deep. In the Heart."  

Video Premiere
The official sales and marketing video premiered on September 16, 2008 at the McNay Art Museum's new Stieren Center for Exhibitions. Industry partners walked down a red carpet into the reception followed by the presentation of the 3:00 video "The San Antonio Story."

Brand Launch
On February 14, 2008, dozens of couples celebrated their love in a mass wedding at the historic Arneson River Theatre. This special occasion also marked the launch of the CVB's new brand campaign.
